
The Teachers College Reading and Writing Project (TCRWP) is an approach to literacy instruction for students in elementary and middle schools with two primary goals: to improve students’ reading and writing, and to help children become lifelong, confident readers and writers who display agency and independence through work with teachers, collaboration with peers, and independent work.

Anime Club brings students together to celebrate creativity, storytelling, and Japanese culture through the world of anime and manga. Members collaborate to explore character design, animation styles, and cultural themes while building friendships and teamwork skills. Through watch parties, art projects, cosplay events, and discussions, students develop imagination, confidence, and a deeper appreciation for the art of animation.

Spoken Word empowers students to express their voices through poetry, storytelling, and performance. Members collaborate to explore creative writing, rhythm, and stage presence while building confidence and communication skills.

Girls Who Code empowers young women to explore the world of technology and computer science through hands-on coding projects and teamwork. Members collaborate to learn programming, problem-solving, and design thinking while building confidence and leadership in STEM.

The Lenovo Scholar Network empowers students to explore innovation and entrepreneurship through technology. Members collaborate to design mobile apps, develop creative solutions, and engage in hands-on STEM projects that prepare them for future careers in tech.

The Botanical Garden Club inspires students to connect with nature through hands-on gardening, plant care, and environmental projects. Members collaborate to grow flowers, herbs, and vegetables while learning about sustainability, biodiversity, and the importance of green spaces.

The Varsity Basketball teams empower student-athletes to develop discipline, teamwork, and leadership both on and off the court. Players collaborate to strengthen their athletic skills, build confidence, and represent their school with pride and sportsmanship.
